Endocrinologists manage diabetes (the bulk of practice), thyroid disorders, adrenal insufficiency, pituitary disorders, calcium metabolism, and metabolic bone disease. Mostly outpatient. Diabetes care is increasingly tech-heavy (CGMs, pumps).

Hours 45 to 55. Predictable schedule, minimal call. Compensation $250k to $300k.
